Although Susan Nerio has been with Inverness Village for less than two years, she has quickly become the central nervous system for our Facilities Department. She is a dynamo. Her flexibility and resourcefulness have been on display through several key transitions; she has never not met a challenge. Best of all, residents love working with her.
During the community’s recent switch to a more comprehensive emergency response and monitoring system, she communicated all information to the residents, scheduled resident meetings, transitioned the residents to their new pendants, and handled all liaisons with the system’s techs. Susan also has led the charge on the Facilities Department’s new maintenance system, Insite. Thanks to her leadership, the entire Inverness team is now up and running. She has helped the mechanics become proficient with the mobile devices and has already found many helpful features to make Insite more efficient. Now Susan is working with residents in the Home Refresh project, guiding them through carpet and tile selections and helping them schedule their home for updates.
To summarize Susan, three words come to mind: dynamic, motivated and curious. We don’t even want to think about what we would do without her.
